Our Service Department features state-of-the-art equipment and the latest diagnostic tools to support our team and best serve our customers. Our experienced technicians in our Service Department are factory trained and have in-depth knowledge of the vehicle’s operation and maintenance requirements.

About this Position:
Responsible for identifying vehicle issues and performing necessary maintenance and/or repair work. Possesses advanced background and knowledge of vehicles to efficiently execute high quality repairs. Familiar with the operation of high-tech features, microchip-controlled systems, and electrified vehicles. Responsible for attainment of Customer Service Index/Net Promoter Score targets.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicle automotive systems including engine, drivetrain, suspension, brakes, electrical, HVAC, etc.
- Performs specified work with efficiency, accuracy and in accordance with dealership standards and manufacturer specifications
- Collaborates with Service Advisors and provides complete estimate of labor, parts, and timing
- Maintains open lines of communication with Service Advisors to ensure customers are well informed
- Follows operations standards in completing all necessary repairs and maintenance
- Performs quality checks on work and road tests vehicles as required
- Documents findings, repairs and maintenance on repair orders and inspection sheets per company and manufacturer’s requirements
- Builds customer relations and promotes loyalty and referrals by delivering timely, high-quality repairs
- Maintain clean, organized and safe work environment and service bay
- Ensures achievement of CSI/NPS targets
- Stays current on required manufacturing training
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience and manufacturer or ASE Certification
- Well versed in repair of all electrical and mechanical vehicle systems
- Knowledge of new vehicle technologies
- Experienced in use of computers and technical equipment to diagnose vehicle issues
- Use of hand and power tools to repair and replace parts
- Extensive experience in performing routine vehicle maintenance and warranty items
- Demonstrated effectiveness in handling complex technical repairs
- Reading, analyzing and interpreting common technical journals
- Determining the cause of operating issues and deciding how to solve problems
- Experience in working with Dealer Management Systems (preference for CDK)
- Proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials/waste in accordance with procedures/regulations
- Ability to translate technical information to Service Advisors/customers
Education/License/Certifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
